The villa is close to Larnaca town, by the charming village of Pervolia; it is in a delightful rural location with miles of unspoilt beaches; from the villa, there are unrestricted views of the sea and, in particular, the views from the master bedroom and balcony are superb.The local beach is just 100m away; the warm Mediterranean waters shelve gently and are ideal for children. The beaches of Golden Bay are just 10 minutes drive away with Water Sports available on these blue flag award winning beaches. These include para-gliding, wind surfing, banana boat, flying fish, and boat hire. Why not try a trip on one of the many luxury cruisers around Larnaca Bay? The location of the villa on the Kiti peninsular, on generally flat ground, means that walking and cycling are at an easy pace. The nearest shrub-lined cycle path passes at the bottom of the garden and cycles are available for hire locally. The local restaurants (one just 200m away, the rest in Pervolia just 5 minutes drive) offer the choice of excellent local cuisine in the friendly tavernas (English speaking), or European, or Chinese menus. Larnaca town is just 15minutes drive; here you will find many restaurants, bars and a choice of nightlife. Visits to the Palm Tree Marina and Corniche are recommended but, for a contrast, please also take in the older part of the town and fishing harbour for a quieter pace of life and seafood restaurants. For general shopping, Larnaca has an array of local shops, together with a few well known names which you will recognise, but don’t miss the Sunday Market on the Dekelia Road, it specialises in local products and you could well find a bargain or two, to take home with you. For the more adventurous, most of the island is within easy reach via a good road system; the villa is well situated, within approximately 8 minutes of the main east/west road, which traverses the island. Hill top villages with local crafts, the cool Troodos Mountains, and golf courses are all within easy reach. Description The villa is South-facing onto the Mediterranean, so benefits fully from the sunshine and the pleasant sea breeze. The large ground floor plan is a spacious open-plan dining, living and kitchen area. There are two comfortable sofas plus an LCD TV with satellite channels and DVD player. The dining area is furnished with a 6-seater dining table; although most guests breakfast on the balcony and dine al fresco on the two terraces. The kitchen is fitted with a ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and a full suite of appliances, cutlery, and crockery. There is a toilet and tiled shower room near the door for a shower after a dip in the pool or to rinse that beach sand away. Large sliding doors lead on to the terraces at the side and the rear (sea side). The master bedroom has a double bed, plentiful fitted storage, and a good sized en-suite shower room and toilet. From its own balcony overlooking the garden and pool, there are spectacular sea views. The second large double bedded room also has a private balcony and generous storage space. The third bedroom has two single beds which can be pushed together, and fitted storage space. There is also a further spacious bathroom with a full sized bath and shower in which you can soak in after a hot day in the sun. All towels and linen are provided, together with a hairdryer. Outside, there is a private swimming pool with sun loungers, tables, chairs and a BBQ for al fresco dining. The walled garden has both open and shaded patio areas for you to sun bathe or cool down; it is gated both at the front drive and rear beach access and, there is a shaded car port. Conditions Please, no smoking in the Villa 25% deposit on booking with the remainder required 8-weeks prior to the holiday. Please replace breakages with like for like. The property is easy to find and approximately 10 or so minutes away by taxi or car.
